Barry Shapiro

Barry's deep connection to wildlife started during his childhood. He grew up across the street from the Bronx Zoo and visited often in the company of his grandfather, who managed a concession stand there. His loyal support of WCS dates back to the early ’70s when he joined as a member. Several years later, Barry amplified his commitment to wildlife by upgrading his annual support and including WCS as a beneficiary in both his will and his individual retirement account (IRA). WCS is deeply grateful to Barry for his ongoing generous commitment to wildlife!
