Planned Giving

The Wildlife Conservation Society, founded in 1895, has the clear mission to save wildlife and wild places across the globe. Since our founding, we have forged the power of our global conservation work and the management of our five parks in New York City to create the world’s most comprehensive conservation organization. We currently manage about 500 conservation projects in more than 65 countries and educate millions of visitors at our five living institutions in New York City on important issues affecting our planet. Our parks include the Bronx Zoo, New York Aquarium, Central Park Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, and Queens Zoo.

Making a planned gift is a wonderful way to show your support and appreciation for the Wildlife Conservation Society’s mission of protecting wildlife and nature while accommodating your own personal, financial, estate-planning, and philanthropic goals. With smart planning, you may actually increase the size of your estate and/or reduce the tax burden on your heirs. Just as important, you will know that you have made a meaningful contribution to WCS.

We recommend that you familiarize yourself with various gift options by exploring Ways to Give and What to Give. Then compare gift options and/or calculate how these gifts could work for you. And of course, please contact us for assistance or to discuss your personal situation and objectives.
